Finally Christmas are over. Finally?
Yes, it was fun. I really had fun.
I started my Christmas with cutting my finger so deep, that blood couldn't stop flowing for a long time, so I ended up in bed grieving about my poor existance and weeping and snobbing because of my bad luck.
Then I changed strategy to refilling lost amounts of suger in my blood by turning to a vacuum cleaner for cakes and cookies baked by my mom for this special days. Next step was to calmly gain weight while laying or sitting around, especially in front of my computer and watching In Time With You, a recent Taiwanese drama, with Ariel Lin as a main lead. I have to admit that this actress changed diametrally! She was soo different from It Started with a Kiss, where she played silly girl, who felt in love with a genius and was enjoying being tortured by him. In this new drama she looks so pretty and mature, that I didn't recognize her at the first glance. Only when I saw someone's comment that they love Ariel!!!!!!!!!, I realized it.
And what was even more surprising, this drama was full of intelligent words and dialogues about love, life, marriage and family and all kinds of happiness. It made me think a bit, although to be honest, what I was looking for in this drama was rather light entertainement than thought-provoking piece. But it played both roles very well. The beginning was a tiny put-off, but then I got addicted, and after finishing all 13 episodes I was satisfied. The ending was brilliant and didn't spoil the whole drama, as it happens sometimes.

That would be my Christmas. After I turned off my computer and decided to feel some Christmas ambience too, I realized it's already over. Add a call from work informing me that I will have to work for the following 4 days, whole shift - 12 hours, and I knew that Christmas are over for sure. I really never dreamt of ending my year this way, but I guess I cannot run from it. If I go to China, I will be working like a dog everyday, so I need to be prepared. I just hope to get a lot of money for overtime work and I will be contented!

All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.

Christmas in Poland are coming soon. Usually I didn't work on Christmas Eve already, helping my mom with baking and cooking, but this year I'll be working till 3pm. Which is also a good thing, because just before the dinner everyone is so stressed out that we usually quarrel a lot. So, this part will pass, without me getting engaged.

That's why today I started with big cleaning. I checked every corner of my room and it became an even bigger mess, as I found lots of interesting things from my childhood and from recent times too.

This ugly pink Barbie bag was my dream for a long time when I was a child. When I got it, I was proudly holding it when going to French class.

That's funny how people mature quickly.... Mature.... Ok, maybe I haven't matured yet, but ok. One more time. It's funny how people's dreams change so fast...

I found a box with my old toys!!!!!! I think I'm still a kid, I can play with them as well as when I was a kid :P

But I still didn't finish tidying up my room..........

Expect the best, plan for the worst, and prepare to be surprised.

I forgot to write about the strange thing that was shown to me by destiny haha. Well, okay. If I Ellen, my friend who's in China, heard the story, she would understand me the most. I'll try to write about it anyway.
I was going home from work watching the ground as I was thinking intensly about things. I don't remember what about, but it must have been some kind of evil plan how to take over the world. I looked up as the moon was shining brightly. I bet I was thinking about gong to Asia then. As I looked a bit lower, I saw a guy running towards me. As the guy was approaching me I could see more details of his appearance. And I noticed soon that it was an Asian guy! I was almost ready to catch him in my arms, but he was too quick haha. Anyway, it was bizarre! It was dark, cause it happened around 10pm. The light that moon was emtting made it all look eerie.

This morning I was taking care of eight kids, age around 4-5 years old. I was an assistant during children's Christmas workshop. The kids could prepare zucchini wafers on their own. I soon realized that being an assistant means more or less, the kid's slave and a cleaner in one.Well, those kids were adorable. I became aware that, as long as it's not mine, I like kids. At least I like the kids who already understand what I'm saying. Younger ones are more troublesome.
I wanted to take photo of the group  was taking care of, but my mobile was far away.....!

Two days off didn't go to waste.

Monday. After half of the day spent on overthinking everything that happened over last few days I went to the class on teaching of foreign languages. It was fun as always. Every week I'm starting to believe in teachers more and more. The teacher who conducts this class is a Japanese women, who specializes in teaching Japanese language to foreigners. She was teaching in Canada, USA and Taiwan, now she came to Poland. I don't doubt her experience, as it's more than 10 that she's been teaching. And I want to learn as much as I can from her. Although I don't think I can be a good teacher. Nor do I strive to become one.

Tuesday was the day when Pam started Christmas cleaning. I cleaned the window in my room. Maybe nothing, but I had this great sense of accomplishment that can't be achieved easily!
And an event of the day! The teacher who conducts Monday classes had a presentation about Japanese Christmas and New Year celebrations. It was really interesting, and as it was in Japanese, it was a great opportunty to listen to Japanese language. My friends, M&Ms were translating. It's their new nickname. By they I mean my two friends from University, both has the same name - Marta, so they are ebing called M&Ms ^^

Days 23 & 24 of 30: COMPLETE!

Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs...but it's your choice to either scream or enjoy the ride.

I didn't post anything through the weekend, because I was busy working/getting prepared to go to Warsaw/enjoying Warsaw. Oh yeah, I forgot. I was always sitting in the JLPT exam. Yeah.

Basically on Saturday I was working half of the day and then I met up with a friend to... I don't know why. But we ended up trying on every pair of glasses found in a store called Fieldmann. That friend wants to buy a new pair, so I wanted to help her choose a nice ones. I found a nice ones for myself too. A lila coloured ones - totally cute. But I don't really know if I look that good in them.

Oh yeah, I did it. The most expensive glasses from brands like Ray Ban or Gucci haha~! ^^)v

And so, soon the Sunday came. I woke up when it was still night, cold and dark outside and set off to the Main Railway Station. I saw that they set up a skating rink just in front of the station btw.

But it was too early, so noone was ice-skating yet :P

The train was late of course, so we got to Warsaw a bit later, but we still got some time for my friend to buy herself two new T-shirts in H&M and to eat some crappy food in McDonalds (KFC was too far!!!).

We stalked one girl who was holding some Japanese language materials and that's how we found the place of exam. The exam itself was.... HARD! I mean, it was difficult. The listening part was really annoying, the sound was weird and the people were talking in a weird accent.

Fedior and her face flattened because of my low-quality mobile camera. Well, she looks more Japanese now.

A friend from Toruń, who came all the way to Warsaw for the exam. Although he never prepared to it. He completed a few exercises before the exam. I bet he will pass it with flying colours.

But what came after the exam was far more interesting! We went with our friend living in Warsaw to eat and then to see the Old Town. Kohei took us to a nice Italian restaurant, where we ate a lot of good food and then we went to see the Christmas Market. The streets of Warsaw looked beautifully, all lit up. There was a huge christmas tree in violet colour and a nice Christmas market, where we drank hot honey alcohol.

After a loooong looooong day we went back to Kraków and I felt asleep as soon as I lied down on my bed.

How to be Less Perverted.

Another half learning/half working day. You might think it was just another boring day, but not for me! I had an occasion to know the people working next to me more, as we were enjoying a pleasant conversation when there was no customer around. And somehow this pleasant conversation ended in some peroverted topics. Like stereotypes about black guys and Asian guys (I need to stress this word - stereotypes, at least as far as the Asian guys stereotype goes haha).

Talking about guys. I found a leaflet in my post box, advertising a new gym. The model on the leaflet was just so good-looking that I decided to take a photo! Just look:

I would definitely go to this gym if there were guys like this there. But I know it's a lie... Life's not as beautiful as they show it on advertisements... 

It's high time to hear the Christmas songs on air, but no. Not yet. Although the whole department store is decorated with lights and christmas trees, it's still too early for the music. Even though the tv announced that traditionally in December, we will be able to watch 'Home Alone', as every year. I don't have a tv though.


I might add one more photo later on. But for now, my mobile's acting up, so I'm not sure if it's possible...
