Two days off didn't go to waste.

Monday. After half of the day spent on overthinking everything that happened over last few days I went to the class on teaching of foreign languages. It was fun as always. Every week I'm starting to believe in teachers more and more. The teacher who conducts this class is a Japanese women, who specializes in teaching Japanese language to foreigners. She was teaching in Canada, USA and Taiwan, now she came to Poland. I don't doubt her experience, as it's more than 10 that she's been teaching. And I want to learn as much as I can from her. Although I don't think I can be a good teacher. Nor do I strive to become one.

Tuesday was the day when Pam started Christmas cleaning. I cleaned the window in my room. Maybe nothing, but I had this great sense of accomplishment that can't be achieved easily!
And an event of the day! The teacher who conducts Monday classes had a presentation about Japanese Christmas and New Year celebrations. It was really interesting, and as it was in Japanese, it was a great opportunty to listen to Japanese language. My friends, M&Ms were translating. It's their new nickname. By they I mean my two friends from University, both has the same name - Marta, so they are ebing called M&Ms ^^

Days 23 & 24 of 30: COMPLETE!

If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.

The first half of the day wasn't anything special, that's why I never expected that the second half will be as interesting. Till 4pm I was at work, challenging myself with second part of the Japanese manga called "Wind Up" in English, 「大きく振りかぶって」 in Japanese.

One client who came to buy a pair of contact lenses saw the manga and couldn't believe it's actually in Japanese. It made me feel kinda.... satisfies hah :P

Around 6pm I was supposed to meet a Japanese CSer, but as I didn't want to go by myself I invited girls from Uni, that is: Fedior, Olga and Megu and we went all together. The guy, named Kohei-san (agaaaaiiin???) was actually my age, but listening to him I was quite amazed. Even though he's still very young he decided to go travelling to find out what he really wants to do in his life. Although he still didn't grasp the shape of his future he slowly starts to understand what kind of person he strives to become. He said, he wants to make people happy - be it a teacher, a doctor or whatever, he wants to work in a profession that enables him to make people happy. He also shared with us some words he heard leately. You won't take money with you to your grave, so you should live so that you can take all your experiences and adventures with you.

It made me think again that my life is a bit empty now. If I don't do something, it won't have a meaning. I have to decide something. And it doesn't have to be a good choice, it just must be a choice. Something that will make my life go forward. And I have to forget about everything and just go ahead. And look up, on the title. If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.

I think that meeting new people makes me who I am, and I really love to listen to people who have passion. And although I still don't use it fully, I believe that CS is the greatest initiative one could think of.

Day 17 of 30: COMPLETE!

I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise it won't be boring.

Quoting David Bowie, I want to do sth that's not boring, although I don't know what would it be. Lately I'm meeting with all kinds of people, but rather than thoughts like "I want to be like this person", I'm becoming to be aware of what I don't want to become. Which is also not that bad.

At work I could concentrate on my studies. I was doing exercises from book preparing to JLPT, chatting on GTalk and playing Kanji-Box game. I hope that learning will do me good, even if it's just a half-assed learning.

The most fascinating thing I discovered today is the fact that the boss of the store locaated just next to mine seems to be looking for a young girlfriend. He actually tries to pick up the girl who's working with me. But damn. She's 2 years younger than me. Plus, she has had a boyfriend for almost 2 years now. I hope the baldie-boss will notice it soon, because getting some wierd text messages from him on the store's mobile phone is creepy~~~!

Btw, in the department store I'm working in a new atraction for kids appeared. You can....

I heard about pedo-bear, but PedoBunny is even scarier....

Day 10 of 30: COMPLETE!

The only difference between a good shot and a bad shot is if it goes in or not.

As I should have expected too much caffeine made me unable to sleep properly. I was fighting with myself to fall asleep, but no sheep-counting, no mathematics, no dream-inveting worked. I felt aspleed around 4/5 am, dammit.

At 1 pm I was supposed to meet a Japanese guy, who wrote to me on Couch Surfing, because he saw that I know his friend. We walked around the city and talked about the wierdest stuff possible. Teasing him was quite fun, so I did my best to do it. In Japanese haha ^^)v
We drank hot beer, which surprising wasn't sweet at all, but we also got a free peanuts as a treat from waitress. She said that because it took her very long time to bring the beers over. Was it that long? I didn't notice that, but you know, free stuff is free stuff!

The Main Square in Kraków is known in the whole Europe, and even listed by UNESCO... I think. Not sure about it. Anyway, since a few days ago there's also a Christmas Market going on, with stalls selling regional products, with a stage, where some concerts are organised and also the stands with hot wine!

The Christmas Market looks really beautiful at night, believe me! It looks so much better than this photo ^_~

Day 7 of 30: COMPLETE!

It is what we think we know already that often prevents us from learning.

Hi hello ahoy!

I was effectively wasting my time by chatting with friends on Skype, checking Facebook for the tenth time, and waiting for the movie to load that I almost forgot! My OPPD Challenge!!!!!!

Today I spent a day which should be divided into two stages. One was work. Finally everything was fine, no mistakes! The second and last part of the day should be titled "Learning to teach". That's quite a dull title. I think the title like "Pretending to be more knowledgable than I am in front of my University's juniors" would be more appropriate ^^;
I'm attending a course on how to teach Japanese language. I already graduated, but Mrs Tanaka let me attend her class. And I don't regret it. No way! I can speak in Japanese, meet my beloved friends, see how the lessons for Freshmen look like.

Today's photo was taken at work. Yes, it was a boring day at work. Yes, I definitely made a full use of it.
