Gossip is the art of saying nothing in a way that leaves practically nothing unsaid.

What I thought will be the worst day turned out to be a nice one, actually. Another day of slavery work... ok, maybe not slavery, as I'm usually slacking at work a lot. Of course, I work hard too. I just maintain a healthy balance. Harmony is necessary in everything one do.

New Year's close, so everyone seems to be in good mood. It doesn't matter how the 2011 year was anymore, we have the courage to start everything anew beginning from 1st of January! So it was good to see people's smiles. Everyone was saying 'Happy New Year' and I felt really great!

But the store on our left was in a mess. Their boss hired three girls with a contract till the end of this year. And he said he would decide on two girls. That means, one would be dismissed, or rather that person's contract won't be renewed. And today was the day of fnal decision.
I have to add that today was Sylwia's birthday. She is one of those three girls. She's very open for people, a social person. She talks with everyone and she is able to do it. She's honest and sincere. She's a bit annoying, but it's cute. A person, who can talk about everything and who can listen to everything you want to say. She doesn't seem to judge people and smiles a lot.
We gave her a small gift and a card, she was really happy. And then she heard that she will work in January and all. I'm hapy for her.

But then, the second girl, Kasia lost her job. She was so stressed out for these few last days that it had an effect on her health. Kasia is less self-confident comparing to Sylwia. She's a bit shy, but she has her opninions. She is weak to guys, but she wants to have power of decision. She tries hard and gves her all. And she likes everyone, without talking bad about them.

The third girl got this job because of connections. We don't like her that much, because she disregards schedule and comes and goes as she pleases. She takes a coffee breaks twice or three times a day, but for over 1,5 hour. She's over 30 years old but still not married. She likes to party and have fun. She's from some small town and she is quite scared of the big city. She treats me like her little sister, which is quite nice. I think we're a totally different styles, but I don't think I can say I hate her. She's just different from the people I know.

I have a photo taken from before Christmas Eve's dinner. My favourte dish - buns with mushroom filling. We eat it with a soup, called barszcz (barshch). It's a traditional Polish Christmas first dish. At least at my house.

Polish Christmas = eating, eating, eating, eating, eating....... = +10kg of wieght.

Finally Christmas are over. Finally?
Yes, it was fun. I really had fun.
I started my Christmas with cutting my finger so deep, that blood couldn't stop flowing for a long time, so I ended up in bed grieving about my poor existance and weeping and snobbing because of my bad luck.
Then I changed strategy to refilling lost amounts of suger in my blood by turning to a vacuum cleaner for cakes and cookies baked by my mom for this special days. Next step was to calmly gain weight while laying or sitting around, especially in front of my computer and watching In Time With You, a recent Taiwanese drama, with Ariel Lin as a main lead. I have to admit that this actress changed diametrally! She was soo different from It Started with a Kiss, where she played silly girl, who felt in love with a genius and was enjoying being tortured by him. In this new drama she looks so pretty and mature, that I didn't recognize her at the first glance. Only when I saw someone's comment that they love Ariel!!!!!!!!!, I realized it.
And what was even more surprising, this drama was full of intelligent words and dialogues about love, life, marriage and family and all kinds of happiness. It made me think a bit, although to be honest, what I was looking for in this drama was rather light entertainement than thought-provoking piece. But it played both roles very well. The beginning was a tiny put-off, but then I got addicted, and after finishing all 13 episodes I was satisfied. The ending was brilliant and didn't spoil the whole drama, as it happens sometimes.

In time with you and the main leads. Ariel is sooo pretty~!

That would be my Christmas. After I turned off my computer and decided to feel some Christmas ambience too, I realized it's already over. Add a call from work informing me that I will have to work for the following 4 days, whole shift - 12 hours, and I knew that Christmas are over for sure. I really never dreamt of ending my year this way, but I guess I cannot run from it. If I go to China, I will be working like a dog everyday, so I need to be prepared. I just hope to get a lot of money for overtime work and I will be contented!

All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.

Christmas in Poland are coming soon. Usually I didn't work on Christmas Eve already, helping my mom with baking and cooking, but this year I'll be working till 3pm. Which is also a good thing, because just before the dinner everyone is so stressed out that we usually quarrel a lot. So, this part will pass, without me getting engaged.

That's why today I started with big cleaning. I checked every corner of my room and it became an even bigger mess, as I found lots of interesting things from my childhood and from recent times too.

I'm sitting at home looking outside the window, where lots of tiny snowflakes dances around and gather on the ground. Finally! The thing I love about winter - snow. The thing I love about Christmas - snow! The thing I love about December - SNOW!

But then again, I heard it's really cold outside. I haven't gone out for 2 days.... I was curing my cold, still haven't got over it yet though. But I have to go to work. After all, what I need now is work harder! No matter what I'm gonna go to China for year! I need money now~!

Ah, it's in Polish though. It says that LOT - Polish airlines might start with flights Warsaw-Beijing! What's more the price would be around 1500 Polish złoty, which is more or less 400 euro!!! If it could be only this, I would be the happiest person in the world!!!!

Anyway! I'm home now and I got reminded that it's the 30 day of 30, so my challenge ended! But as it's fun I will write from time to time, I need to practise my English, after all! When I go to China, I won't be able to write hee, but I'll think of some different blogging site. China blocked all sites that I'm addicted to actually. FB, YouTube, Blogger... I will still use FB though, I know a few ways haha.

It's so nice to see even a slight change of the road I walk everyday to work. Now it wasn't just a 'slight' change too ^^)v

Stress is when you wake up screaming and you realize you haven't fallen asleep yet.

Now, this s the worst. Stupid cold makes me lay in bed for the fith day in the row. The worst! Although I fianlly have time to watch my beloved Korean dramas (new one I can recommend is: "Flower Boy Ramyun Shop" and "Me too, Flower" - the second one has better actors, the first - hotter).

When I started working in my shop, we had a cool bonus things to each thing a client bought. Now, we're not adding it anymore, so I could take one home:

It looks cute, but in fact it's a anti-stress toy. So I think it will be perfect for me. When I'm watching movies or dramas I'm bitting my nails a lot, so with this toy I will have another thing to do - squeezing it with all my might!

It's no longer a question of staying healthy. It's a question of finding a sickness you like....

...and this one is definitely most detestable one. Especially for those who like to talk. Like me for example. Especially that I have a big news that I want to share with anyone and everyone!

You know the interview I was taking? The one I had to attend with zombie-voice? I did my best, but it was also the weirdest interview I've ever taken part in! And what was even weirder is that I passed!

From now on, it might be more difficult, as my parent won't help me financially. So I have to work harder to pay for the ticket to China and all visa stuff. I will call the Chinese consulate as soon as I get my voice back! And also, I need to get something called TN AN, from China AIESEC, to be 100% sure I got this internship for real.

Day 28 of 30: HAPPILY COMPLETED!!!!!!!

Art is a marriage of the conscious and the unconscious.

So! I looked throught my mobile and I discovered a photo I took before I've fallen asleep for 12 hours! Before I went to sleep I was watching Korean dramas and messageing with my friends on Interpals.net, which I use as Facebook ever since my friend went to China, where she cannot use FB anymore. So we changed to this website. Where I can also improve my Japanese language skills by exchanging mails with natives. Yaay~!

That's how the website looks like. And no, I'm not a nerd without any real social life, I just want to improve my language skills... LANGUAGE SKILLS!!!

This morning, as you know, my voice changed to a zombie voice, so I decided to stay at home for tonight. At the same time I started to cure my cold. I'm working for 12 hours tomorrow, so I have to be ready for that! That's what I bought:

Lemons! Candy with Vitamin C. And Christmas postcards.... not related....

As one of my friends recommended me to drink lemon's juice, I thought why not take his advice! I have nothing to loose after all! I'll go make some rice tea and lay down in bed. One episode of Korean drama and I'll go to sleep~!

Day 26 & 27: COMPLETE

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later.

I'm sorry, guys. I had to take a two days' sick-leave. I don't have a note from doctor though. I never went to the doctor, in the first place. But I felt bad on Thursday evening, so I went to sleep around 6pm. And then I woke at 6am the next day and went to sleep again. This way two days were over in a flash, I didn't have time to even think about photographing anything, let alone writing blog posts.

But today, I had no other options, but to come back to life. Which is quite hard, because my voice sounds creepy! My throat hurt yesterday already, but I never expected that I will become a zombie... And what's more, today I had an interview for the internship I dream about. It's Skype video talk. What's even worse the interviewer seemed to not understand my English fully. She was making a face which was telling me that she doesn't have a clue. But she said I'm pretty - yay! I feel quite happy when I hear it from a women. Especially a women that I met for the first time. Cause, guys are saying things like this just because. My female friends say it because they like me. But you know.

Anyway. After one more thing that I scheduled for today I will go to sleep again. I'm working tomorrow, so I have no other way, but to get well soon. I will pass on today's parties though. Sorry, everyone!

I forgot to write about the strange thing that was shown to me by destiny haha. Well, okay. If I Ellen, my friend who's in China, heard the story, she would understand me the most. I'll try to write about it anyway.
I was going home from work watching the ground as I was thinking intensly about things. I don't remember what about, but it must have been some kind of evil plan how to take over the world. I looked up as the moon was shining brightly. I bet I was thinking about gong to Asia then. As I looked a bit lower, I saw a guy running towards me. As the guy was approaching me I could see more details of his appearance. And I noticed soon that it was an Asian guy! I was almost ready to catch him in my arms, but he was too quick haha. Anyway, it was bizarre! It was dark, cause it happened around 10pm. The light that moon was emtting made it all look eerie.

This morning I was taking care of eight kids, age around 4-5 years old. I was an assistant during children's Christmas workshop. The kids could prepare zucchini wafers on their own. I soon realized that being an assistant means more or less, the kid's slave and a cleaner in one.Well, those kids were adorable. I became aware that, as long as it's not mine, I like kids. At least I like the kids who already understand what I'm saying. Younger ones are more troublesome.
I wanted to take photo of the group  was taking care of, but my mobile was far away.....!

Two days off didn't go to waste.

Monday. After half of the day spent on overthinking everything that happened over last few days I went to the class on teaching of foreign languages. It was fun as always. Every week I'm starting to believe in teachers more and more. The teacher who conducts this class is a Japanese women, who specializes in teaching Japanese language to foreigners. She was teaching in Canada, USA and Taiwan, now she came to Poland. I don't doubt her experience, as it's more than 10 that she's been teaching. And I want to learn as much as I can from her. Although I don't think I can be a good teacher. Nor do I strive to become one.

Tuesday was the day when Pam started Christmas cleaning. I cleaned the window in my room. Maybe nothing, but I had this great sense of accomplishment that can't be achieved easily!
And an event of the day! The teacher who conducts Monday classes had a presentation about Japanese Christmas and New Year celebrations. It was really interesting, and as it was in Japanese, it was a great opportunty to listen to Japanese language. My friends, M&Ms were translating. It's their new nickname. By they I mean my two friends from University, both has the same name - Marta, so they are ebing called M&Ms ^^

Days 23 & 24 of 30: COMPLETE!

At night, when the sky is full of stars and the sea is still you get the wonderful sensation that you are floating in space.

Phew. Stressful day. I don't know why video talk through Skype makes me nervous every time, no matter who I talk with. But this time I wasn't sure if the guy I'm talking with will understand me. Fortunately his English was even better than mine, so it was okay. I talked with a TN manager from AIESEC from China. He even let me talk with his flatmate. To my surprise the guy was saying "I want to go to Poland, I want to go to Poland". I was happy for a moment, till I heard him saying to the other guy "because the girls are pretty". And here I thought he might like Poland because of its... I don't know... culture?

The department store around 10 pm in the evening. Yeah, that's when I finish work too.

After work when I was dashing through the freezing cold night busy with my own thoughts I looked up to the sky. It looked so beautiful. I think that if only people had more time to observe sky, they would be so much happier. Because just one glance up to the sky, made all the bad and depressing thoughts vanish from my head.

I think that as long as I can see the stars, it doesn't matter where I am. Be it Japan, China, New Zeland, Australnia, Poland, Germany.... Whatever. Sky is always with me!

I'm a slow walker, but I never walk back.

A very very bad day! I have to pay a fine! I'm usually using a one-month ticket for buses and trams, but this time I forgot and, let's call him Mr. Checker, he made me aware of it quite in a brutal way. Daaaaaamn!!!

Anyway, I'm really down today, as I was told that I might not get my salary before Christmas...

Ok, I won't write long essays today, just one big news! The guy, who was a hit during summer holidays in Kraków came back!

Day 21 of 30: COMPLETE!

Curious things, habits. People themselves never knew they had them.

The small shop I work in have a few neighbours. From the left side, there's a shop with sofas and other furniture, from right there's a tiny stall with LED lights. It's called GerLed. Whoever knows why? Because I don't. Two people work there, a nice girl with policeman boyfriend and a guy called Kuba, who never talks to us. Our conversation never went over simple 'Hello' in the morning and 'Bye' after work. Ah! He once came to ask if our wi-fi works fine. It didn't.

His ugly habit is that he's always playing with keys. He swings them all around. Even while talking to the customers. If I don't hear the ringing of his keys it means he went on a break. It almost became normal for me, if I don't hear his keys, I'm staring to wonder what happened.

Sometimes he swings his keys with such an energy that the keys fall from his hands and fly all over the corridor. It hasn't happened once or twice, it's quite often that I see the key-bullet flying towards me. It never reached our store though. Fortunately.

There's also another habit, which is quite interesting about Kuba. When he talks over the phone he's walking in the circles around his store, while swinging his keys, of course. He makes me think of one time when I went with my friend to the Zoo. Somehow all the animals were circling inside their small cages. I remember I was really worried about them, why are they running in circles? Are the cages too small for them? Is everything okay with the animals? But my friend is a vet-to-be, so her saying that the animals are okay, made me sigh with relief.

And while Kuba-guy was exercising and keeping himself fit by running circles around his store and swinging keys, Pam was sitting on her arse trying to figure out sth from this text... Banzai for 1000 idioms list...

Btw, my big sis was making a cute chocolates for her dear boyfriend, but she got annoyed with it, so I helped here while she was bathing.... okay, it doesn't look that good, but it tastes like heaven!

Day 20 of 30: COMPETE!

The worst thing I can be is the same as everybody else. I hate that.

Ok, now, I still don't know if I can get the internship, but I have everything checked up already. If I got it, I would have everything figured out already! The only problem is I still didn't get any reply!

Unexpectedly, I didn't have to go to work today. So I wasted my day on sweet laziness, and hell, it was the best thing I could do. It's been a while. I chatted with Ellen and with two other friends too, so I had a great time. In the evening I even went out shopping with my big sis (wow!). So I have to say it clearly: it was FUN.

Even though I had fun today, my photo is a bit pessimistic. But it's what I look at everytime I'm sitting in front of my pc, because I pasted it to the wall.

And also I found a Chinese singer, who is quite good. His image is a 'dorky boy', but I bet he's a totally different person if not on the stage. I wish to see him in real life. The singer's name is Lu. Actually, it's 盧廣仲, but as it's Chinese, not Japanese, I don't really know how to even read it hah.

Day 19 of 30: COMPLETE!

Nearly everything you do is of no importance, but it is important that you do it.

7th of December 2011.
The day of a big event and an even bigger discovery!

As for the 'big event', I made a self-introduction video and sent it with my application to Asia, where I want to do an internship. If I got that internship I would be the happiest person in the world. I still don't know where will the results be out, I also need to attend an interview with the company, I suppose. But for now, I can only wait for a reply.

The big discovery is that on the package of rice green tea 玄米茶 which I received from a Japanese friend, I found my other friend's surname.
The characters written on it were: 伊藤園, the first two characters form my friend's name!!!!! I don't know why, but I felt a bit of satisfaction that I managed to recognize familiar characters! The tea is delicious, btw.

The numbers above seems to be a date till when can I drink this tea... Or was it the date when it was produced...?

Day 18 of 30: COMPLETE!

If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.

The first half of the day wasn't anything special, that's why I never expected that the second half will be as interesting. Till 4pm I was at work, challenging myself with second part of the Japanese manga called "Wind Up" in English, 「大きく振りかぶって」 in Japanese.

One client who came to buy a pair of contact lenses saw the manga and couldn't believe it's actually in Japanese. It made me feel kinda.... satisfies hah :P

Around 6pm I was supposed to meet a Japanese CSer, but as I didn't want to go by myself I invited girls from Uni, that is: Fedior, Olga and Megu and we went all together. The guy, named Kohei-san (agaaaaiiin???) was actually my age, but listening to him I was quite amazed. Even though he's still very young he decided to go travelling to find out what he really wants to do in his life. Although he still didn't grasp the shape of his future he slowly starts to understand what kind of person he strives to become. He said, he wants to make people happy - be it a teacher, a doctor or whatever, he wants to work in a profession that enables him to make people happy. He also shared with us some words he heard leately. You won't take money with you to your grave, so you should live so that you can take all your experiences and adventures with you.

It made me think again that my life is a bit empty now. If I don't do something, it won't have a meaning. I have to decide something. And it doesn't have to be a good choice, it just must be a choice. Something that will make my life go forward. And I have to forget about everything and just go ahead. And look up, on the title. If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading.

I think that meeting new people makes me who I am, and I really love to listen to people who have passion. And although I still don't use it fully, I believe that CS is the greatest initiative one could think of.

Day 17 of 30: COMPLETE!

Sadness flies away on the wings of time.

Okay. So the day started awesomely. I woke up around 12 o'clock. Yaaay! Finally I could get some sleep! And today's class about teaching Japanese language was even more interesting than usual. Only three of us came, so the teacher decided to make something else today. We watched some oldie videos for the beginner Japanese language learners and talked about its value.

But in the evening I became sad. No reason at all. I just felt sad... haha

So, in the evening I went out to breath some fresh(?) air. I walked and walked and walked. There was only one star visible, just next to the moon, and when you see a star just next to the moon, you should think of one wish you want to come true.... is what someone once told me. So I did. I thought about this one thing I want the most now. We'll see if that works!

Day 16 of 30: COMPLETE!

Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs...but it's your choice to either scream or enjoy the ride.

I didn't post anything through the weekend, because I was busy working/getting prepared to go to Warsaw/enjoying Warsaw. Oh yeah, I forgot. I was always sitting in the JLPT exam. Yeah.

Basically on Saturday I was working half of the day and then I met up with a friend to... I don't know why. But we ended up trying on every pair of glasses found in a store called Fieldmann. That friend wants to buy a new pair, so I wanted to help her choose a nice ones. I found a nice ones for myself too. A lila coloured ones - totally cute. But I don't really know if I look that good in them.

Oh yeah, I did it. The most expensive glasses from brands like Ray Ban or Gucci haha~! ^^)v

And so, soon the Sunday came. I woke up when it was still night, cold and dark outside and set off to the Main Railway Station. I saw that they set up a skating rink just in front of the station btw.

But it was too early, so noone was ice-skating yet :P

The train was late of course, so we got to Warsaw a bit later, but we still got some time for my friend to buy herself two new T-shirts in H&M and to eat some crappy food in McDonalds (KFC was too far!!!).

We stalked one girl who was holding some Japanese language materials and that's how we found the place of exam. The exam itself was.... HARD! I mean, it was difficult. The listening part was really annoying, the sound was weird and the people were talking in a weird accent.

Fedior and her face flattened because of my low-quality mobile camera. Well, she looks more Japanese now.

A friend from Toruń, who came all the way to Warsaw for the exam. Although he never prepared to it. He completed a few exercises before the exam. I bet he will pass it with flying colours.

But what came after the exam was far more interesting! We went with our friend living in Warsaw to eat and then to see the Old Town. Kohei took us to a nice Italian restaurant, where we ate a lot of good food and then we went to see the Christmas Market. The streets of Warsaw looked beautifully, all lit up. There was a huge christmas tree in violet colour and a nice Christmas market, where we drank hot honey alcohol.

After a loooong looooong day we went back to Kraków and I felt asleep as soon as I lied down on my bed.

Days 14&15 of 30: COMPLETE!

I used to live a very social life and never spend much solitary time looking at birds or reading.

I need to raise a vital issue. But I'll start with a confession. Buses and trams has made a significant contribution to my social life. Starting from primary school I was commuting to school by buses or trams. In high school there were many other students who decided on independace from parents and a bit of adulthood, and this was also a starting point for my social life. Weird? Nooo! Just imagine those 2h hourse of commuting everyday, inside the bus with people from your school. You have enough time to learn something new about your friends.

Now, that I'm not a tudent officially anymore, the bussocial life continues! Lately I'm meeting my senior from university like three times a week, it's like a full fledged bus-relationship! This morning I met my teacher from high school, only to find out that I missed a blues concert that took place in my high school two days ago!

I won't mention exchanges of looks and smiles with unknown people in bus, including handsome guys and nice old ladies. Which is rare. Nice old ladies, I mean. Believe me, riding a crowded bus makes the dark side of every human come out........

But, the bus-meetings are a huge part of my social life and I won't ever deny it. No matter how smelly, crowded, dirty or suffocating the buses might seem to be, I admit their role in my life!

Day 13 of 30: COMPLETE!

Nothing is a waste of time if you use the experience wisely.

The first day of the month is the most important day at work, because you need to review the whole month. It was the first time for me to do stuff like this, so I came like 15 minutes earlier to get round to it. I really hope I did everything correctly, but I won't know it until the package I sent, reaches the company.

After work I went to new confectionery called Beard Papa's, which is the cafe imported from Japan! The so-called puffs were delicious!

Day 12 of 30: COMPLETE!

If you can't find somethin' to live for, you best find somethin' to die for.

I thought it would be just another boring day if not for a few things.

1) I have a new boss. 3 days ago my company hired a new manager, so I have a new boss. I experienced a great honour of meeting him today. Of all days why did he have to come today, I wonder. I didn't sleep too well, so I looked like a zombie on a run. And he was telling me about such a details that I wasn't sure what should I do with that.

2) The nicest thing today...! /Now, Pam is turning into mamas girl/ My mom visited me at work with the most delicious sandwich I've ever eaten!!! Well, no, it wasn't made by my mother. She bought it in the bakery downstairs of the department store I work at. But the intentions are what matters!

Salad, egg, cheese, ham and lots of other ingridients! Mega giga delicious sandwich attack!

Tomorrow morning I am supposed to do a month's review or something at work. It will be my first time doing such a responsible job. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Day 11 of 30: COMPLETE!

I don't know where I'm going from here, but I promise it won't be boring.

Quoting David Bowie, I want to do sth that's not boring, although I don't know what would it be. Lately I'm meeting with all kinds of people, but rather than thoughts like "I want to be like this person", I'm becoming to be aware of what I don't want to become. Which is also not that bad.

At work I could concentrate on my studies. I was doing exercises from book preparing to JLPT, chatting on GTalk and playing Kanji-Box game. I hope that learning will do me good, even if it's just a half-assed learning.

The most fascinating thing I discovered today is the fact that the boss of the store locaated just next to mine seems to be looking for a young girlfriend. He actually tries to pick up the girl who's working with me. But damn. She's 2 years younger than me. Plus, she has had a boyfriend for almost 2 years now. I hope the baldie-boss will notice it soon, because getting some wierd text messages from him on the store's mobile phone is creepy~~~!

Btw, in the department store I'm working in a new atraction for kids appeared. You can....

I heard about pedo-bear, but PedoBunny is even scarier....

Day 10 of 30: COMPLETE!

Sometimes by loosing a battle you find a new way.

Early in the morning (that is around 9am) I was rushing to the AIESEC Head Quarters located in the University of Economics, even though they are not affiliated to any university in Kraków. I was going to meet my 'Buddy' - that is a person who will help me find my way in the organisation.
To reach the place of the meeting I had to go through the biggest mall in the center. On my way I found this little store there:

You can buy little gadgets here, like mobile straps and key chains! All in Japanese cutey style!

I thought the Japanese boom that started a few years ago fainted already, but no, it seems like it's still evolving. Well, for me it's a good thing!

After the meeting, which actually took around 5 minutes (and I especially woke up early!!!) I went home, as I had a Skype date with a friend. I had only a little time, cause I was going to the lecture on 4pm, but in the middle of our conversation I got a message from my friend that the lecture is cancelled. So I talked with one more friend, who was apparently drunk already and then I went to my friend's match. I mean Aś. She plays basketball for a few years now, but she played for 30 secs in todays match. I think that's the reason why they lost. Anyway, me and Kate, who also came to the match, we got inspired to train basketball! I hope we will find some time for it, cause you know, I'm serious! I have my height alright, I just need to learn how to play now ^^;

Day ended with a cup of hot wine drank on the street and a beautiful starry sky when I was walking home.

P.S. I hope my best friend, Ellen, who's now working in China, reads it someday and smile! Because I think she might be having some hard times there as well! Keep your fingers crossed for my friend!

I like these cold, grey winter days. Days like these let you savor a bad mood.

It happened! Winter depression came! Not even a cup of Japanese green tea with rice (swimming inside) helped. And to my surprise it was my part-time job that helped me recover from the morning gloominess! Wow, I don't believe I said it myself. But you know, first thing in the morning, I met a hanged-over friend and had a nice chat. Then I found a Post-it left for me by my co-worker:

It translates: 'Pam, don't screw up with the money counting again! Have a nice day :)'. It worked!!!!

I started this job not that long ago, so I'm still making many mistakes... Ok, maybe more than many. A LOT OF THEM. But you know, my parents were always telling me to learn on my mistakes ^^
Fortunately today everything was okay, so I went home earlier. As I was walking my usual way back home it felt really good, because it wasn't freezing cold, the temperature was somewhere above zero. Plus it was quite windy, the wind was pushing my back, so it was even easier to walk. And I was sure that I saw snow! A tiny faint snow flakes!

My eyes started hurting yesterday... Oh... So that explains the snow... I think I'm starting to see things! Nooooo!


Day 8 of 30: COMPLETE!

The only difference between a good shot and a bad shot is if it goes in or not.

As I should have expected too much caffeine made me unable to sleep properly. I was fighting with myself to fall asleep, but no sheep-counting, no mathematics, no dream-inveting worked. I felt aspleed around 4/5 am, dammit.

At 1 pm I was supposed to meet a Japanese guy, who wrote to me on Couch Surfing, because he saw that I know his friend. We walked around the city and talked about the wierdest stuff possible. Teasing him was quite fun, so I did my best to do it. In Japanese haha ^^)v
We drank hot beer, which surprising wasn't sweet at all, but we also got a free peanuts as a treat from waitress. She said that because it took her very long time to bring the beers over. Was it that long? I didn't notice that, but you know, free stuff is free stuff!

The Main Square in Kraków is known in the whole Europe, and even listed by UNESCO... I think. Not sure about it. Anyway, since a few days ago there's also a Christmas Market going on, with stalls selling regional products, with a stage, where some concerts are organised and also the stands with hot wine!

The Christmas Market looks really beautiful at night, believe me! It looks so much better than this photo ^_~

Caffeine Overdose.

Last few days a conflict with my big sister was getting annoying. My sister, you know, works for a coffee company, that distributes fresh coffee beans to cafes and restaurants. She got really angry when I told her that I'm going on a coffee event held by the place, which refused using her company's coffee.

Today I thought about a good explanation! I said I'll be her spy! It worked! I should have thought of it earlier...

When I went out today, it was around 7 pm, it was already dark like in the middle of the night, and the thick fogg was covering everything. I couldn't see if the bus is coming while I was still walking to the bus stop, fortunately, it didn't, so I didn't have to run.

The whole event was okay. Just okay. On the contrary, I was amazed at the cafe's decoration part. I've been there once before, but I have to say it again. It is such a cozy, cute place! It's called Indalo Cafe. If you ever come to Poland, to Kraków, don't forget to sit for a bit, listen to random people playing the piano, which is free to use for everyone and eat a warm apple pie with whipped cream.

I went out with two friends. One is my middle-school classmate, the other was attending French course with me during our high school days. First one's name is Kate and she's the artistic soul. Her drawings are the best of the bests! And I think she will become a famous artist one day!

Katy ^^ Today she confessed that her preference of pinkish colours is over. Oh no! I think it came to me instead. I like cutey nice colours now! Oops!

 
Aś also has an artistic soul, but in a different area, that is the music. She studies accoustic engineering and plays the guitar, piano and sings, and she's one of the people who inspired me to start guitar.

This Aś with a face saying 'It's so stupid to take photos in a place like this'. She's the only person, who I can trust when it comes to music.

We bought a coffee. We took part in a competition. We got another coffee for free. We went out before we could know the results of competition. I have had enough of coffe for today. Four coffees are my limit. Oh, my stomach aches like hell now.... Ok, maybe not like hell :P

Let's live it up.

It's been a while since I stopped believing in the bullshit about following your dreams. Usually people who are successful shout the word 'dreams dreams' a lot, but I bet they didn't think about it this way when they still hadn't achieved anything. Well, I don't believe it also because, everytime I was trying really hard, bad things happened. So I came to one conclusion. Don't think about specific dreams. After having that said, I want to show you my today's photo:

Yes, I know, the quality of photos taken with mobile phones is just amazing.....................................ly bad.

Yes. I changed the word 'dreams' to the one simple sentence that would become my reason to live! Let's colour our lifes. I want to experience something new, I want to find myself in a whole different galaxy. I'm slowly approaching this new 'something', which I don't even want to specify. I just aim to LIVE.

How to be Less Perverted.

Another half learning/half working day. You might think it was just another boring day, but not for me! I had an occasion to know the people working next to me more, as we were enjoying a pleasant conversation when there was no customer around. And somehow this pleasant conversation ended in some peroverted topics. Like stereotypes about black guys and Asian guys (I need to stress this word - stereotypes, at least as far as the Asian guys stereotype goes haha).

Talking about guys. I found a leaflet in my post box, advertising a new gym. The model on the leaflet was just so good-looking that I decided to take a photo! Just look:

I would definitely go to this gym if there were guys like this there. But I know it's a lie... Life's not as beautiful as they show it on advertisements... 

It's high time to hear the Christmas songs on air, but no. Not yet. Although the whole department store is decorated with lights and christmas trees, it's still too early for the music. Even though the tv announced that traditionally in December, we will be able to watch 'Home Alone', as every year. I don't have a tv though.


I might add one more photo later on. But for now, my mobile's acting up, so I'm not sure if it's possible...

Day 4 of 30: COMPLETE!

My whole world now is turned upside down.

Today was a crazy day. I can't remember the last time I spent such an intensive 12 hours.

In the morning it was snowing! The winter is really close! It's so cold. It's even colder when you sit en face with your best friend with her new boyfriend and watch them going all lovey-dovey, having all those single people deep in their.... you know. But then again, it's nice to watch them. They look cute together.

So after I saw snow I was happy, but I wasn't sure whether I want to go out. However I didn't have any other choice, so I wore my cap and gloves and went out to the freezning land. I had to get my diplomma from university. The Head Quarters of Japanese Studies Department is located in the oldest building possible. So I wasn't that surpsrised when I heard that there's a black-out and no electricity in the whole building. No elevetors, no computers working. But ok, screw it. Climbing to 9th floor is fine. Especially when you're going arm by arm with the guy you were in love with! That's the second... ok, maybe third time I talked with my love from the time when I was still a Freshman.
I got my diploma, but I was still signing some papers when we heard a siren of fire engine. "I think we have to evacuate" said the lady working in the office. "Ok, then", I aswered and we headed towards the exit.
Btw, the nice guy I liked, let me go to the office first, so the matters he had to take care off, had to be postponed. Poor guy.

When we were on the first floor already, the smoke was everywhere. People were coughing and firemen were rushing us to the exit. There was water on the floor and it all seemed like a movie. We left the building, stood there for a few seconds and decided to go our way. The other students were standing there in awe, waiting for the building to burn with fire, but we could only see smoke smoke smoke.

As I was walking away, I heard one professor talking to another: "There was no way, I had to stop the exam and let them go". Too bad...

I was running around the center trying to figure everything out, copy stuff, scan documents, I also talked with a friend from my previous beloved workplace and came home. After a quick dinner I was ready to attend my friend's lecture about moving around and eating in Japan. It was hell interesting! And as a final of the day I went drinking with friends. Oh, and met a senior from University in the bus ^^


And today's bonus! A proof that I graduated with the highest grade possible! Haha~!

It is what we think we know already that often prevents us from learning.

Hi hello ahoy!

I was effectively wasting my time by chatting with friends on Skype, checking Facebook for the tenth time, and waiting for the movie to load that I almost forgot! My OPPD Challenge!!!!!!

Today I spent a day which should be divided into two stages. One was work. Finally everything was fine, no mistakes! The second and last part of the day should be titled "Learning to teach". That's quite a dull title. I think the title like "Pretending to be more knowledgable than I am in front of my University's juniors" would be more appropriate ^^;
I'm attending a course on how to teach Japanese language. I already graduated, but Mrs Tanaka let me attend her class. And I don't regret it. No way! I can speak in Japanese, meet my beloved friends, see how the lessons for Freshmen look like.

Today's photo was taken at work. Yes, it was a boring day at work. Yes, I definitely made a full use of it.

Work is Boring. Make it better.

As I was deciding on my 30 day one-photo-per-day challenge I didn't consider one thing. I spent the whole day at work. Even though it's Sunday. And hell, my work is boring... that is, it requires a lot of energy, positive thinking... a lot of thinking in general, to make it more interesting and fullfilling. And so, I'm trying to use the time at work to improve my:

• communication and social skills, by leading a conversations with people working next to me, 
• my creative skills: by drawing on spare pieces of paper,
• mathemathic skills: by counting the cash I earned every hour,
• imagination: wondering how would the bald guy working in the store situated just next to mine, look like with looong, black hair
• Japanese skills: reading my friends blogs in Japanese and studying books to JLPT exam (which I'm taking this December btw)
• time-wasting skills: by wasting my time.

So, those few words were supposed to introduce today's photo, which shows my workplace. It's nothing superb. Too bad I have to start my OPPD challenge with boring photo... But now, I can post more and more interesting photos ^^ and make graphs and all....!
